I’m writing this on a cold windy night in December. Christmas is fast approaching in all its fun filled excitement, and, as much as I love cozy nights and festive cheer, I can’t help daydreaming about sipping tea in the sunshine, watching the waves and listening to the Gulls and Terns. I guess I’m just an eternal beach bum.
I’m busy in the cafe, redecorating and making plans … I’ll share some pics soon. In the meantime I’ll enjoy some lovely blustery winter walks and hopefully some snow to go sledging ……… until I can sit in the sun again xxx
just found your blog thanks to Instagram and your lovely photo of Millie, so sad when we lose any animal. I grew up in a farming family on the Isle of Wight and can so relate to all your photos and stories. I hope you continue writing the blog, have had great fun having a read and I have followed you so I don’t miss any future posts. We are now based in the Charente Maritime close to the coast in France. Our little menagerie is growing all the time, we now have chickens and ducks. I have never had ducks before, we didn’t have them on the farm, but I am totally in love with them, they are so friendly and such characters! Come on over and take a look if you have the time. Susan
